To improve the condition of farmers in India, the Fairtrade Organization is setting a minimum price that covers the costs & living expenses of the rural farmers.
Additionally, a premium is added to perk up their life & community. It aims to facilitate us achieve better trading conditions. The cotton in products certified by Fairtrade has been grown by farmers who receive a fair deal for their effort. They also receive a premium which goes towards projects within their local community such as building a school or establishing access to water etc.
We are FAIRTRADE certified by FLO-CERT. The independent auditors who execute independent audits ensure compliance with Fairtrade standards.
Fairtrade Standards are designed to support the sustainable development of agricultural workers in the poorest countries in the world. The key objectives of the standards are development of society, economic development of farmers and environmentally sound practices.
